Recorded this from my 2nd floor balcony in lisbon, portugal. It closely overlooked a small street in which restaurants had set up outside dining. Many people were out this evening, eating, talking and laughing.

This recording, encoded in vbr format, is one hour and 44 minutes long. Like the other recordings in this sound pack, the mother cat and her kittens are inside a nesting box in the garage. A small stereo microphone (olympus me51s) was placed inside the brooding area. After editing, they were exported to mp3 format. Sounds include mewing, purring, shuffling, and nursing. Some occasional heartbeats may be heard as the mother cat or kittens move inside. Other sounds include a rooster crowing, and people working outside, and some occasional people talking in the background. At this stage, the kittens are in week 3 of their life.

A czech guy named "staney the robot man" who lives in prague build this little synth. It's completely handmade and consists of a bunch of analog circuitry that when powered creates strange oscillations in current. It's also built into a seseame street toy saxophone. This set sounds like a robot talking. If chopped up and sequenced you could do a lot with it.

This was all recorded in enumclaw, wa on july 4th, 2013. I used a yamaha pocketrak recorder throughout the day and into evening when the fireworks started. There's an old piano outside the music store and i just caught the end of a young guy playing some nice music. I then just walked down the street recording the sounds. You can hear me talking to a guy who's working for a local politician. The b-25 mitchell bomber flyover was totally unexpected and i was lucky to have had the recorder going. It made two passes right over me and i love the sounds of those engines. It was a great day. Please comment on what you will use it for. Thanks. :^).

A mid-sized waterfall flowing into a gentle stream. This is near the road by the grand prismatic spring in yellowstone. The timbre of this smaller fall is higher than the roar of the large waterfall. And you can just make out the gurgling of the stream. But, in general, this kind of thing sounds a bit like static. Sorry it's so short, there was a lot of wind and people talking. Created for fun to document the first test launch of the (fictional) falkon8 space rocket to take humanity to the rings of saturn. After the countdown the engines start. During liftoff, ground control engineers talk to the pilots to help keep the rocket on the right course. The launch crew and pilots are talking in a particular regional northeastern italian dialect. The mission launched from the san marco platform, italian "luigi broglio" space center. I was super inspired to post here again after an insane coincidence happened!. I was in an online class (thanks, covid) where we were supposed to redo all the sounds and music for an animation we chose. We were encouraged to use sound libraries and freesound. Org.
